1st Steps in Tango

My 1st Steps in Tango have been in Buenos Aires, in a place called La Viruta.
At 1st It was an awkward experience, feel someone close to my body and moving together, was very difficult. Everybody tells you "Don´t watch your feet" but I couldn´t help it. I was feeling I was going to step on my partners foot all the time.
I took around 6 lessons until I decided to go more serious.
I bought my Tango shoes at Che Amor http://www.cheamor.com
and since then I only use Che Amor, they feel so comfortable, flexible, so feminine that I use them also to go out.
After having my wonderful shoes, I signed up in in Espacio Zafra. It is a Cultural Center in Barrio Once.
The lessons were for only 5 or 6 people. So I had the teachers at my service all the time.
My Teacher was Matías Tripodi http://www.matiastripodi.blogspot.com , and he was amazing! unfortunately, for me, he is sooooo good that travels all the time. So he left to go to Europe.
Now, I am not taking lessons anymore, I go an pratice at the Milongas.
Most of my friends goes to La Glorieta, that is in Belgrano.
It´s a lovely place to dance! http://www.glorietadebelgrano.com.ar/glorieta/set.html
